Hello Mudo
here are the contact details for the Litsa
email-chilloutbar@mail.gr
www.litsa-apartments.com

And say Hi to Giannis (Yianni - s is silent )

From Norman & Kim

Ps: Support your local eating out places. Thomson pulled out mainly from S/C apartments, and just have connections with a couple of hotels in the area.
So, the visitors to these tend to eat in the hotels and not try the local eateries.

no we stay in appartments with thompsons for the last 8yrs twice a tear and out of two weeks each time we at the least eat out 10 times thompsons have no input on wat we do on holiday

Well done, Greavsey.

That's the whole point about holidays, let someone else do the washing up.
And, its cheap to eat out, well I think so, especially as many of the places not only serve the food ordered, but the food they like you to try.
And, there is so much choice its unbelieveable.

HAPPY HOLS

also doing wedding preperations for next year just cost me £380 for a new dress as she cant get in the one we originally bought.

everything apart from honeymoon should be sorted by october

hi Donna- Lee

please do me a favour and ask ilias how much a room will cost for august next year for 1 week

if its cheap enuff then i will call ilias b4 the end of season and book it.
tell him it will be our honeymoon.

the reason i ask is i dont really want to book through thomson .
i just want to book a flight to seloniki then get to fourka.
ilias did say when we were there he could get us from airport to fourka please ask if this can be done if not then ill have to go through thomson .
not paying 60 euros each way for taxi
if we go through thomson we get the bus free as you know.
we are both looking forward to next year

give our regards to all at aris

hi Donna& Lee

ok Monday went into town to book ARIS for next year

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Thomson WILL not be operating in FOURKA in 2008 ANYWHERE.

ARIS no
JULIA no
Everidiki no

sooooooooo thought ok book flight only then go from there

cheapest flight was East Midlands £ 570 for both if its 1 week or 2
£136 return for a taxi ( could hire a car for £125 for the week)
so adding that so far its £695 then
1 weeks at ARIS say £175 @ 25 euros a night
thats £850
we payed that this year for 2 weeks in ARIS so
we have sat and seriously thought about our next move
and have decided that we just cant afford that straight after the wedding
so looks like the honeymoon will be here in UK somewhere

Hope you have a great holiday say HI to all over there
and may see you in 2009 as we said before .

Hi Jeff Kay Boyd

That's real shame.....would it be out of the question to travel to Gatwick for a flight?? I was monitoring the flights when I got back last year and managed to book for £196 return for 2 back in March, leaving two weeks today. Wahay!

hi Shirley

we live in lincolnshire so would be a struggle to get there to Gatwick
i have flown from there b4 and didnt find it at all inspiring lol

we like to fly from Luton as i can leave my car at a friends house and he then runs us into Luton.
My daughter lives 10 mins from East Midlands so could leave car there and son-in-law would run us to airport.

we have till next year August to think about going to Greece

will have to see

Hi Jeff, and others who seem to know a lot about Fourka. Just booked this morning to go on 24th Sept, to Julia's for a week. First time in Halkidiki, tho been to Greece a lot.

What's the weather likely to be like? Good enough for a tan?

Any tips for a pair of 50-something Halkidiki virgins? We like drinking, eating and being lazy. Enjoy a bit of history, boat trips, seeing what's worth getting off our ars*s to see. Both drivers.

Don't like discos/nightclubs. Do like dogs, which sounds like a necessity!

Any fishing boat trips to be had? (for him)

Anywhere to ride horses? (for her)

All information gratefully received. Cheers. Yiasas

julia ummmmmmmm nice accomadation but up a drive way and across the Main road from the beach (4 min walk).
Weather .............take 30+ sun lotion because this year was the first year i got burnt and my max was only No 8 most years but had to buy 30+ to cool it off .

well Fourkas JUST THE PLACE for u both
Yaimas Bar (good food and drink)
Jimmys in Hotel Australia across from Yiamas (good drinking hole)
Iris (best mixed grill in town ) say hi from boyd to them lol
Bella Venetia in the square its up stairs above the 1st gyros shop
The 1st gyros shop
across the square is a Seafood Taverna (recommended)in the left hand corner

No noisy night club.
nice comfortable beach with Chill out Bar for that dinner time Amstel cooler
fresh doughnuts brought to you on the beach

not much in the way of things to see in fourka itself but hire a car from Achilies@panama cars(tell him jeff sent you) and tour the peninsula turn right out of Fourka to Nea Skioni and the coastal road to Pefkahori DO VISIT all the villages on your way they are amazing.
as you approach Nea Skioni theres a little church in the rocks on your righ look for a BIG blue cross and you can park and look inside maybe light a candle for a loved one .
Then follow the road round to Hanioti and Polychrono and if u still have time up to Nea Potadea and Nea Moudania
boat trips from pefkahori to Sithonia (see Achilies for booking).
a few dogs only now in Fourka they are all up in the mountains .

sorry no horse rides but may get in Hanioti

thursday nights greek nites most tavernas try Aristidis Hotel u pass it on way to beach say hi from Jeff kay and Boyd if u venture in lol.

tuesday Kassandria Marcket Wednesday Nea Moudania Market

Hanioti at night is a MUST to do on your list

have a great time if you need to know more ask me or Jane as shes presently living near Nea Skioni lucky thing .
