Re: Getting married - 17 years ago
Don't worry Jaki. Everything is legal and above board. We have just been married in Hanioti, go to the thread started by Vicky, Just back from Hanioti. Everything was great. When you get married over in Greece the marriage certificate is obviously in Greek and for changing all your official bits over here you'll just need to get it translated. Rita (the registrar) was great with us and gave us aby alex - Halkidiki

Re: Pallini Town Hall Wedding - 17 years ago
Just to let you know that we've had all our paper work back, the whole thing took around 7 days. A lot less than if we'd had to do all the running around ourselves, especially when you read that there has been a back log of postal applications at the Foreign Office. We'll be over there within a month now. Better abuse my bachelorhood while i've still got it.by alex - Halkidiki

Re: wedding - 17 years ago
Finally got a few more things cleared up. This is the information we got from First Choice 1. Only the bands and birth certs need to be translated. 2. Passports only need to be legalized by the Foreign Office not the Greek Consulate. (as well as being authorised by a solicitor of course). Well all the paper work is away. If we get any more advice we'll be sure to post it for every one toby alex - Halkidiki

Hi Dan.. Go on the pirate ship mate you'll ave a great time.. apart from from that you can't go wrong with anything else really. The pace of your holiday is all down to you and there's loads to choose from, if you don't like long trips stay away from the Alexander tour, we spent many hours on a coach, not adviseable with the hangover i had.
