Re: turtle island - 16 years ago
hi depends on what you want to do? i belive that this is an animal sanctuary and as such you aren't allowed access to the island itself. though there is some great snorkelling and diving there ... pedro at Odyssey dive club can help here. most of the toroni/sithonia bound cruises have a stopover for swimming/snorkelling at turtle island too. andyby andyhell - Halkidiki

Hi We can't quite see the correlation between a beautiful, reasonably quiet greek village and Blackpool personally. There's the odd amusement arcasxe and a little fairground ... bus as the prvious reply says Blackpool it certainly isn't ... some people! We've been going to Pefkohori for several years now, and yes it can get busy during the high season but what resort doesn't these days. Aby andyhell - Halkidiki

hi steve we are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this july whilst staying in pefkohori (july 5-19) do you know if it is possible to arrange a renewal of vows in or around pefkohori? we have tried various tour operators and even tour organisations in halkidiki but to no avail any help would be great andy & eleniby andyhell - Halkidiki
Re: aeollos aparthotel - 17 years ago
the aeollos is in pefkohori, nice village ... we've stayed there at least once a year since they opened in 2001 ... BRILLIANT in a word if you can, book it ... be warned very popular ... lots of return guests (which speaks volumes) so tends to get booked up for the high season quite quickly (we booked last may for this july) enjoy!by andyhell - Halkidiki
Re: Pefkohori - 17 years ago
sadly enough yes we do, 7th year in 2007 ... at least twice a year. love the place, could quite happily live out there full time! though will be trying something a little different next year as we're off to the maldives for a week ... but back to greece of course later in the year!by andyhell - Halkidiki
