Re: Photographer & Florist help needed - 15 years ago
Hi Marie We had our wedding in Hanioti in May. We got a photographer through Thomas Cook weddings. I'm ashamed to say I dont even know his name - Jan or John. But his pics were brill. Cost us In the region of 400 euro and we got millions (About 400) of pics on the disk. A wedding album with 60 shots in and we got this before we came back. He was with us for a couple of hours at least.by lynette - Halkidiki

Hiya Janet No, unfortunately Stones is in Hanioti so if you are ever getting over there, say Hi to Kim and Roulis for us. I was very lucky to have gotten my car for free through Kim and Roulis so cant help with hire. I do know Thomas Cook wanted us to pay £156 for a decorated car so Saki's figures sound good. TC also wanted £300 for a coach to take our guests to a possible venue that wasby lynette - Halkidiki
Re: Hanioti resort info... - 15 years ago
If I am correct in remembering where the Lesse is you will probably walk down a beach road into hanioti town square and will pass Stones Restaurant. Go there. Kim and Roulis and Pavlos will give you a superb welcome. They recently catered our wedding and it was excellent. Lynette xxby lynette - Halkidiki

Hi Janet We were paying 10 euro per adult for the buffet which included 1/2 ltr wine per couple but we did add some extras on like welcome drinks, extra fish and meat (which wasnt really required!), champagne for toast and Childrens meals. It was excellent value from Kim and Roulis and they set a lower price for the bar while we were there. We put a tab behind teh bar which lasted longer thaby lynette - Halkidiki

Hi Chelle We have just gotten back from our wedding in Hanioti and all my 36 guests plus us 3 had a fab time. The town hall was cool. Nothing mega special but pretty enough. Rita, the registrar is a star (her email is on here somewhere). Now our wedding reception was amazing. It was held in Stones restaurant. The owners, Kim and Roulis did us proud. They worked tirelessly to make our dby lynette - Halkidiki
Re: Hanioti restaurants - 15 years ago
Hi If anybody is looking for a fab restaurant, look no further than Stones. We just got back from our wedding in Halkidiki and Kim and Roulis, the owners, organised our wedding reception in their beautiful restaurant. They could not have done enough for us. The food, the drink, the decor, the music and venue were all superb. All of my guests reckoned it was the best wedding they had ever bby lynette - Halkidiki

Hi Mariesa Sorry took me so long to get back to you. Busy, busy with all this wedding planning. What happened with our documents was that we got an extra word put on our certificates of non impediment. Basically we are getting married in Hanioti and put this on the docs to be tranlated as we had been advised buy a friend that the greek authorities were very specific about the wording.by lynette - Halkidiki

Hi Marie Beware of Thomas Cook, they have been most unhelpful for us. And we've been told by them that we wont get our actual wedding date until we arrive in the resort. We are currently having lots of trouble with our wedding documentation which we may have to have re-done at approx cost of £300!! We are getting married this year in hanioti, actually flying out on 16th May, hopefully iby lynette - Halkidiki

Thx for letting me know Scouse. I have booked the package with Thomas Cook and am hoping to have my wedding day on 25th May. Was it yourself who contacted the registrar direct by email, that I saw on a previous message? What time was your ceremony? Thanks Lynette xxxby lynette - Halkidiki

Pallini or Hanioti - 16 years ago
Hi Probably a daft question but I am looking to get married next year in Halkidiki. We are booking with Thomas Cook and their wedding brochure states weddings are carried out in Kassandria or Pallini. The question is, is Pallini town hall the same place as Hanioti town hall? We are going to stay in Hanioti and I really want the ceremony to be as close to resort as possible for my guests.by lynette - Halkidiki
