Hi
We travel in our camper van.
Having toured all round the Peloponnese three times in the last 5 years usually taking 3 months.
This year beginning late April we would like to spend some time in and around Halkidiki.
We usually like to stay in very small camp sites or just find some
Scrub-land near the sea or fishing harbour.
Any information would be useful thanks

I know there is a camp site down near the beach in Kriopigi though not sure if it's set tents or if you can take your camper van there too,i'll try & find out for you & get back to you.Kriopigi is a lovely little village with a very nice beach & there are lots of surrounding villages & resorts to explore plus some lovely scenery.

There is a great camp site just outside Pefkohori going towards Paliouri.it is next to the sea in a huge sandy bay

95% of campsites in Halkidiki are next to the sea. Most campsites are located in Sithonia peninsula.
