Re: First Trip to Halkidiki - 17 years ago
Good choice ! will be there on Thurs 10 June with my wife. Have stayed there before and is one of the best in Hanoti and is good value. Perfect for children as it is all enclosed and should not be able to wander to far. very nice pool aerea. As with all Greeks they love children and this is a family run Hotel. Food tends to be more on the Greek style but I always found some thing I liked, some peby alanapp - Halkidiki

Re: Olimpic Kosmas Hanioti - 17 years ago
I have it on good advice this hotel is now owened by Russians so not to sure if it is sutible for an English family with young children. Also Strand & Grand, Strand Village, and Olimpic Lackiss are also owened by Russians. I am not saying there is any thing wrong in that but it may be better to book into one that is used by British tour operators. I have used and going back (8 June ) Hanoti Pby alanapp - Halkidiki

Re: Taxi fare - 18 years ago
We paid 65 euros from Airport to Hanoti and it took 45 mins door to door, but could be a little longer if heavy traffic. this was Sept 2005. so the above price is about right, and sakis is local so should be better informed than me.by alanapp - Halkidiki
Re: Life Bar - 18 years ago
Yes he and his son Aggiss have a bar on main road, It is nexted to Olympic Hotel. It moved from previous site, and is now called Wembley Bar. You will see the Union Jack flag outside. If you have a spare football shirt (any team) they would be very gratefull for it to add to there collection.by alanapp - Halkidiki
