The Old Tavern, Hanioti - 15 years ago
Hi all, been going to Hanioti for five years and used to go to the Old Tavern (Amanda's) quite a lot, when Amanda left to work with the travel agency we thought that it wasn't the same. Haven't seen any messages on here about it so just wondered if it was still there. Going back in August and would like to give it another try. Any comments on this would be appreciated. Thanks, Andrea &by andrea & steven - Halkidiki

Hi, The Vicky Apartments are really nice and so are the people that run the place. They do have karaoke but only once a week and this has to be finished by twelve. We have been for the past four years and are going again on August 25th and we can't wait. I usually travel with a group of about 14 people and we meet up with people that have been there previously and we have never had causby andrea & steven - Halkidiki

Hi Sian, My e-mail address is thecarpenters@hotmail.co.uk We have had Room 1, the 2 bed apartment in the Bar for the past two years, it makes a difference to have that extra room. Do you find it very busy in August with the school children? My son is almost 16 anby andrea & steven - Halkidiki
Re: Vicky Apartments, Hanioti - 16 years ago
Well all I can say is that I wish I was going again on the 13th. We only go to the Vicky, you get a really good welcome there and we wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Been looking at booking for next year. Could you do me a favour and ask Pat for her email address. I have some photo's to send to her or I could give you my e-mail address and you could pass it on. It would be very muchby andrea & steven - Halkidiki

Hi Sian, We had a wonderful time again this year. It was our fifth time to the Vicky, we wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Pat, Mike, Leo & Audrey are so welcoming. The weather was fabulous... just one thunderstorm in the middle of the night, apart from that really hot & sunny. Are you staying in the Vicky? Andrea & Steveby andrea & steven - Halkidiki

Hi, We came back from the Vicky on 23rd July and were wondering if anyone was going there soon as we had the email address for the owners, only must have written it down wrong. Just wondered if anyone going could ask them to confirm it. Thanks Andrea & Steveby andrea & steven - Halkidiki
Re: ATM Haniot? - 16 years ago
Hi Lizzy, There are three ATM's in Hanioti as far as we are aware. There is one in the Square, one just off the square going up to the main road, but the one we've always found most reliable is the one outside the big Supermarket on the Main Road. Have a great time in Hanioti, am sure you will really enjoy yourselves as much as we do every year.by andrea & steven - Halkidiki

Hi Gary, Are you all set to go? Just watching the news and it says there's a heatwave in Greece at the moment! 11 days to go !!!!!by andrea & steven - Halkidiki
Re: Good Bar/Restaurants - 16 years ago
Just read my previous message - what I meant when I said that the Greeks come into the village on the weekend was that they love Erodius and it gets really busy. And if its good enough for the locals, it has to be really good. Have a fab holiday. Andrea & Stevenby andrea & steven - Halkidiki
Re: Good Bar/Restaurants - 16 years ago
Hi, Like Sian we love Erodius, its our 5th year in Hanioti this year, going July 9th!! Erodius is great for food & drink though we tend to avoid it at the weekend as the greeks come in to the village. Stones & Amethystos are also nice places to eat. Have a great holiday.by andrea & steven - Halkidiki
Re: hanioti - 16 years ago
There are a couple of supermarkets in Hanioti - but the best one is on the main road (or was until the fire last year). There are two near Amethystos, one in the square, but these are smaller.by andrea & steven - Halkidiki
