End of Summer season

Hi, visiting first couple of weeks in October, will tavernas and restaurants still be open? Also is it still beach weather !

I wouldn't recommend Halkidiki in October. You may be lucky with the weather but many places will be closing down or will have closed down and there will be very few tourists around. Halkidiki is a lovely area with beautiful beaches, traditional tavernas and attractive countryside but to appreciate it at its best I would go no later than early to mid September.
