Travel from Thessaloniki to Chalkidiki

Hello! If anyone can help me please, i am travelling to Thessaloniki in the end of July and would like to visit Chalkidiki's beaches as well. How can i travel from a central stop in Thessaloniki with the bus, to Chalkidiki? There, i would like to go to Kassandra probably, there is a beach called Chroussou? I found some nice photos of the beach. Would you also recommend it? Thank you!

It’s a very long way to travel by bus to Chroussou Bay (Paliouri) it would mean several hours return journey.

You can rent a car, why not? I had a great experience with this rent car in Greece service on our recently completed month long trip to Greece which included a 10 day rental for a car to explore the Chalkidiki. We had no problems with the car and it performed well throughout our trip. When traveling, there are so many uncertainties it's nice to be able to have confidence in a rented car.
