Has anyone booked to go to The Fanis this year.

If so when, and did you find it easy to sort out.

Still hoping to get there in June or July.

I remember that was our second tour to halkidiki. We stayed at Fanis Apartments. As far as the hotel is concerned you couldn't get a better position directly opposite the beach. The bar has a nice buzzing atmosphere, without being roudy. Drinks are little expensive. The rooms are very nice - some of the best i have seen in greece. The kitchen equipment is perfectly adequate and much in line with what you would expect in greece but they did have a kettle which is unusual for greece. The one major problem with this hotel is its lack of an adequate number of sunbeds - this causes the early morning rush to get towels out on the beds and then everyone goes back to bed until they really want to get up.The beds are locked away at night and at some where between 6.30am and 8am they are unlocked.
