Today we have small round brown jellyfish in our sea on the west side of Kassandra. They appear to have small brown dots all around on very small stalks - sorry daren't get closer ! Are they dangerous and do they sting. They are the typical jellyfish type of movement but did not appear to have any long tentacles.
Can't find pics anywhere on the internet of them, but maybe you know what they are.

Hi Jane.
They are baby cassiopia. they will grow to the size of a large dinner plate over the next couple of months. You will be pleased to know that they are harmless and do not sting so you can get as close as you like. If you look closley when they get bigger you can see small fish living around the tenticles
