Hi all

We're off to Polichrono for a week soon and I'm just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for more "local"/less touristed places (towns, tavernas, beaches, restaurants etc) nearby that would be worth a visit. We will have a car so can get around a bit.

Villa Stasa at Loutra, marvellous views, good Greek food, good portions and mainly Greek customers (apart from us and those we recommend haha!).

Beaches on the other side, Nea Skioni, Mola Kaliva and areas inbetween. Not many tourists, but not very sandy. However sea very clean and clear and no bifbats etc on beach.

Possidi is also very nice, nice taverna on way down but cant remember name offhand. Nice sandy beach and lots of cafes etc on front.
