Should i holiday here?
Ive looked at the hotel and am keen but am not to sure about the surrounding area.
Can anyone tell me if there is anything to do outside the hotels?
Not so much nightclubs but pubs and restuarants.
I just want a good holiday at a five/four star hotel with the possibility of stepping outside and going into a few pubs/restuarants.
Please help me! My misses is really giving me grief so any help/advice on the surrounding area would be really helpful!
Thanks
James

hi..of course you should holiday here....Halkidiki has much to offer, all the way down the Kassandra peninsula/island there are bars, restaurants, night clubs, for nocturnal activities.
The beaches range from gravel to soft sand, small coves to long stretches, lots of water sports at the various resorts...just about anything you would want...the perfect holiday!!!.

We stayed in Pefkohori last year and would go back in a flash, the resort is unspoilt and has not been overtaken by the brits (yet) lots of traditional taverna's and restaurants, we did find one chinese restaurant in resort which made for a nice change. The weekends can be busier as the Greek locals come down to stay at their holiday homes.
Hanioti seemed a bit more commercialised with irish bars etc. I suppose it depends what you are looking for in a holiday if you want a relaxing base with a taste of traditional Greece you won't be dissapointed.
