Hi, I think I asked this question recently but I am about to get my currency for my holiday to Hanioti on the 9th Aug. Can anyone confirm that sterling travellers cheques are best? Travel agents tell me to take euro but i recon thats cuz they make money off them......Can anyone who has just come back give me some help on this?
Also, where is the best place to change money in Hanioti and what sort of exchange rate should I be looking at?
Many Thanks

hi
as things stand i was told by my friend Achiles in fourka that sterling is better than euro cheques
and he is the local exchanger and id go by what he says anytime
you will get better rates for sterling against euro
just look around Hanioti for best rate as you do your shopping/ dining.
