i'am i right to pre-book or pick up a cab on arrival at airport...

Just to get your taxi at the airport. There is always taxi's available at the airport just make sure you ask them the price to Hanioti. You don't need to pre-book.

We also got a flight only with BA in June to Thessaloniki. Our hotel arranged for a taxi to pick us up as we did last year. Only change was the price - it had gone up from 50 Euros to 60 Euros! (Taxi from Thessaloniki to Afitos).

Hi there, its very expensive to go by taxi from thessaloniki, you could ask your hotel if they can help you or alternatively contact Bros Travel in Hanioti who will help you. We just came back via BA, no hassles and no delays, pretty sad food tho!!!
