All of the brochures mention a golden sandy beach in the same sentence as Hanioti, when we went we stayed at the Naias and admittedly we didn't venture too far from the centre of the place. (18 month in a buggy!) Can someone give me an idea where the sandy part of the beach is please as I only remember the pebbly part!

Yeah there is a nice sandy bit of the beach, if you go to where the watersports are, it is in between both beach bars... it is lovely, also the sea there is really clear with no rocks!
