i was just wondering if anyone knew of any really good bars in or around hanioti?

almost all of them, love street, kelfos, long island, waikiki, these are among the few. NO-No's is down the road in the next town about five minutes in a taxi. this is a club but go the other way to kalithea and you get loads of clubs.

spent the last 2 summers in halkidiki and almost most nights in hanioti. Leigh has pretty much named the good ones in hanioti, but for 5 euros you can head off to pefkhori - which is the party capital of halkidki. there is just a long sea front promenade of bars and clubs of every description!!

but then Kalithea is fantastic for serious clubbing. there are about 5 massive warehouse style structures which can hold up to 5-10 thousand people!! the best time of the year to go out partying is from july 15 to august 15 - this is beacuse it is the greek summer holidays....just non stop party all night!!

Taxis are pretty reliable because you call for them when you need them,you can't pre-book them so most bars will ring you one if you ask but make sure you have a telephone card with you just in case you need to use a call box,also bear in mind that at the beginning & end of the season it's quite hard(impossible sometimes)to get a cab after 1-2 a.m as the areas aren't very busy at these times.

yeah as Mik, ahs said, don't expect it to be buzzing at the beginning or end of season as the clubs are not open, if you go peak season, you can find loads of places to go! clubs, bars and all night beach bars.
