Is there Halkidiki or hanioti area Visa's Bank automatic and how proper those machines are? Those machines work properly every day? Or is it good to take cash?

There is a cash point in Hanioti Square, one by the main road and one outside the supermarket. They are all linked to the bank of Greece and I have never had any trouble with them. They take switch cards (with cirus / maestro on / visa etc. If you do take cash take English £ as you get a better exchange rate in Greece.
