Re: Greek Nights in Hanioti - 17 years ago
Thanks for the replies, we went to Zante last year and my 2 kids loved the Greek nights in our apartments so I'm pleased that somewhere does them in Hanioti, couldn't remember seeing anywhere the last time we came over.by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
Greek Nights in Hanioti - 17 years ago
Are there any places that have Greek nights on in Hanioti? You know the type of evening I mean, dancing with fire, etc.by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki

Re: Things to see and do? - 17 years ago
Spot on Jennifer. Really good sized rooms, the accom is nicely down a side road away from what little noise you get in Hanioti. Beach is very pebbly so get some beach shoes that are ok in the water.by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
Re: Any infor on weather? Nightlife? Restaurants? Niirides? hanioti? - 17 years ago
Have a gander at my thread from a couple of years ago, it appears that the good places to eat are still going strong...plenty of quality Greek food in Hanioti which is one of the main reasons for us choosing to go back.by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki

Re: Naias apartments, hanioti - 17 years ago
Excellent place back in 2004 Jennifer, the prices have gone up quite a bit so our revisit to Hanioti this year will be at the Niriides. The family that ran the place back then were really friendly and the room sizes were much bigger than we've been used to in Greece previously. Nice location on the stoney part of the beach, away from the hussle but close enough for a wander in to the centre.by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
Re: Hanioti restaurants - 17 years ago
If I remember correctly it was on the road up to the main road near a large supermarket and opposite an ATM?by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki

Re: Things to see and do? - 17 years ago
Thanks Shirley. Is the sunset cruise suitable for little kids or is it a booze cruise? Any more peeps? Surely there's more to do than hiring a car and a cruise...by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
Re: building work ioli village - 17 years ago
With Greece you have to switch into the Greek relaxed atmosphere and mentality straight away, don't let anything wind you up and you'll have a great time. The oddest thing that you'll struggle with is not putting toilet paper down the pan!by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
Re: Things to see and do? - 17 years ago

Things to see and do? - 17 years ago
We're going back for our second visit to Hanioti later on in the year, the last time we just stayed around Hanioti (2 year old in tow) and enjoyed the stay very much. Question is though, what trips are available from Hanioti, is it worth hiring a car for exploring further a field? Ideas please people!by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
Re: Niriides Apartments - 17 years ago

Re: Fire in Kassandra - YOUR REPORTS HERE - try to help other people - 17 years ago
Wow Graham that's an excellent post that puts things into perspective, glad to hear that you're all well though. It's doesn't bear thinking about what might have happened if this wind change had happened in the middle of the night rather than in the evening. Fingers crossed for everyone with businesses left to pick up the pieces. See you all in 2007.by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
Re: Not so good news from Hanioti - 17 years ago

Re: Flying to Hanioti this week!!! what to do!!! FIRE - 17 years ago
Get out on your holiday and help the locals by spending your cash, if your accom has been damaged then you're likely to be put in somewhere else. By the reports on here Hanioti is not as damaged as might have been. go and enjoy yourself.by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki

Where to? - 17 years ago
Hi, We stayed in Hanioti a couple of years ago and loved it, the good atmosphere, restaurants, lack of Brit bars with PR's. Has it changed much over the last 2 years and gone all Brit on us or does it still have that Greek cosmopolitan feel to it? Also, for those that have stayed in Hanioti and liked it...have you stayed elsewhere and found it to match or better Hanioti? We are trying to plby PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
Sandy Beach of Hanioti? - 17 years ago
All of the brochures mention a golden sandy beach in the same sentence as Hanioti, when we went we stayed at the Naias and admittedly we didn't venture too far from the centre of the place. (18 month in a buggy!) Can someone give me an idea where the sandy part of the beach is please as I only remember the pebbly part! Thanksby PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
Re: Lesse Studios OR Naias Apartments - Anyone been to either? - 17 years ago
We stayed in the Naias a couple of years ago and they were great, good sized rooms, very clean with all of the usual Greek accom kitchen gear! Right next to the pebble beach, nice pool area including bar.by PhilCCFC - Halkidiki
