Re: Chrousso Village, Paliouri - 15 years ago

Re: Chrousso Village, Paliouri - 15 years ago
has anyone else had any different entertainment going on? my mom has phoned up first choice & they told her that there was entertainment yet on the site if you go to book it says there is no live entertainment in the evenings so its all rather contadictory! we are going in september as well so not high season. xby calypso2007 - Halkidiki
reliable & cheap car hire - 16 years ago
hi who is the best (hopefully cheap!) and most reliable car hire firm who is willing to drop and collect from Palouri preferably? would like a people carrier or min van preferably as thought this may work out cheaper to hire for a week than getting taxi,s as transer for a wedding plus all the trips up and down to the town hall? any recommendations greatfully recieved. thanks in advance xby calypso2007 - Halkidiki

Re: traditional taverna near Paliouri needed for wedding reception. - 16 years ago
hi thanks for your replies, it is quite hard to find info on Paliouri on the net, apart from saying it is a nice traditional village so a bit stumped lol re the plate smashing, its not an essential requirement but thought a plate was smashed after the wedding for luck or something? did read it is a practice greeks now look upon with disdain and prefer to throw flowers instead, much the same as cby calypso2007 - Halkidiki
