General discussion and questions about Halkidiki.

Thanks again, it wasn't a restaurant as such, just a snack bar type of thing. The beauty was the 1 euro large glasses of cricket beer. Just under 2 weeks for me, I'm hoping it's still open.by geordie - Halkidiki

Thanks kate101 for your reply, I'll try and pop in when I visit Maki's. Do you know if the cafe/bar facing the beach, just south of the pier is open. I can't remember it's name, but was a great cheap place to chill and to get out of the sun for an hour during the afternoon. It mainly sold snacks and cheap beer. ;-)by geordie - Halkidiki

Is the Captain's still open, or has it moved to the Square (Paul's Place)?by geordie - Halkidiki
Pefkohori beach snack bar? - 14 years ago
There was a very cheap snack bar facing the beach in Pefkohori a few years ago which was very, very cheap. It only done basic stuff, burgers etc. and sold I believe large beers (cricket?) I think for 1 euro. Does anyone remember what this snack bar was called and is it still open? I'm sure it was just a guy's name, pretty much like all Greeks bars I suppose. This place was a great place to sit anby geordie - Halkidiki
