Hi Lynette

thanks for your help once again. I would be lost without this site lol.

All my documentation has come back this morning, wehey it all seems more real now. It only took 8 days from me sending it all off to comming back, I cant believe how quick it was and with no hassles either. I would recommed the lady we used to anyone, her name is Andrulla. We also got the time of our wedding confirmed to today, so it has been a good day all round. i just have to wait now till we set off on the 6th August.

Hi again

We,ve (2 adults and 1 child) stayed at the Sani Beach Hotel a number of times, with a full variety of rooms, since 2001 and it suits our needs extremely well. Never had a bad holiday in eight visits. If you are wanting something more special browse the website and match something to your needs, or phone/ email guest relations at the hotel. They are usually very helpful.
In the end its your own judgement. Although most people we talk to thoroughly enjoy the place, some dont. We do notice that they do seem to get alot of repeat visitors.

Hope this is helpful. Good Luck.

Hey there,

My finacee and I are getting married at Sani Beach Hotel and Spa in October this year (2009). We were wondering if anyone has any information about photographers and transport.

After reading quite a bit of information on these forums we have heard that the photography package is not very good and it's VERY expensive......was anyone able to get an independant photographer to do the wedding (our ceremony is at Kassandria Town Hall. ANY information about photography would be SUCH a help. (Does anyone know of this bloke Nic people have referred to???)

Also the hotel wants to charge £350 for a coach....we have approximately 30 people coming so we do need a coach or taxis, does anyone know of an outside company who deals with these services?

Any help would be really appreciated as we are not getting anywhere with our own research. Thank you!!

Dear Hayley & Andy,

We would like to congratulate you for your choice in getting married in Greece and we would definetely propose you the area of Halkidiki, in Northern Greece.
There are amazing blue seas, with green pine forests and the most romantic beaches!
Also, weddings there has not been commercialised as in the ilands so the cost will be less than everywhere else.
You can refer to a wedding planner of the area info@stepbysteph.gr that they are expertises and they can organise your wedding according to your budget! especially since you are living abroad you will need a support in the country that you can trust and bother with any question you want .a friend has done the same and they were absolutely satisfied and in the limits of their money.
If you need extra help i'm always at your dipsosal.

Sweetie

Hiya Bex

My wife & I (Mark & kelly) are an english karaoke/dj duo. We live in Halkidiki every year between May & October. Although we work in several venues for their karaoke nights we are also available for private functions. Having done many weddings & birthday parties for people visiting the island we kinda know what entertainment to provide as we are both English too.

Send us a PM if you are loking for something to entertain your guests at the reception do.

Similarly, if anyone else reading this is planning a Halkidiki wedding please do let us know if we can provide great, fun entertainment for your guests (And yourselves, obviously :-)

Hope it all goes well wherever you choose to get married.

Take care... Mark & Kelly (Okeydokeykaraoke) X

Hi
We are also thinking of getting married in Halkidiki - on a Budget!! Could you please let me know where to begin if arranging things ourselves, as the use of reps etc seem costly, and as we want it to be a very small and intimate event would like to arrange it independently.
Many thanks
Claud

Dear Sharna,

With reference to your mail on the forum, if you require a photographer I can help, my husband is a photography and has worked for many years with english tourists getting married in Halkidiki. I have also worked as a wedding rep for an english tourist company in halkidiki, so if you require any information on the area etc., I maybe able to help. We live in Kassandria (I have lived here for 25 years now), which is where Kassandra Town Hall is.

You might try asking on a Cretan site, this one being for Halkidiki, Northern Greece, Mainland, many kilometres from Crete, which is an island south east of here ! (See a map of Greece for location)

Dear Julia,

Just wondering if you are still living in Halkidiki and if your husband is still doing photography?

My boyfriend and I are getting married in Halkidiki in September 2014 and are still making decisions on the venue etc etc and would like to find a good photographer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can email me at zoblatch@gmail.com

Thanks in advance,

Zo
