wouldnt bother with the safe take more travellers than cash and a word of warning DONT take EURO travlers take STERLING you get better exchange rate and most hotels / shops will change them .

make sure you spray yourself head to foot with mozzie spray the little buggers are evil this year DONT have lights on and doors open evening/night time they will eat you alive been a bad year for mozzies.

You say sterlin travellers cheques........is it worth taking some english cash? I know some places give you better rates that way?
