Thanks to all for replies to my previous posting.
Can someone reccommend apartment or studio to rent in Kallithea which is close to beach (walking distance) and yet close to centre (easy to reach restaurants or bars) as probably we would not have a car? I only found NIKOS ROOMS - has anyone tried it?
Do you know what is the bus rate from Thessaloniki to Kallithea approximately?

There are some rooms right next to Massoutis. I walked to the beach from there. Downhill was fine, uphill a bit more difficult ! Cant quite remember name, but owner is Yannis and the rooms are air conditioned and clean and modern.
