Fell in love with Pefkohori first in 2003 and been back many times since. Booked flights and hotel ourselves this year instead of booking packaged holiday arriving in August and staying at Petridis Hotel for three weeks. Not sure if its cheaper to book transfer on internet before we go or trust to luck when we get there. Any information will be gladly received. Big hello to Kate and everyone at Paul's Place where we have spent many nights chilling out that's if Paul hasn't sold it. Also to El Greco's where we ate the most wonderful food last year. Couldn't wait for August so just booked for a week in May. Chilling out in Pefkohori is second to none. Roll on.

We booked diy style last year to polichrono, and it was our 1st visit to Halkidiki.
We posted on here for about a taxi transfer, and had a response from a chap called Grigoris (Greg). We took him up on his offer, and although we never met him, he provided us with a different taxi driver each-way in very confortable, air-conditioned taxis, of which both driver spoke excellent english.
This made us very relaxed going in to a place we had never been before.
Upon arriving the taxi was waiting for us, and the driver met us with our name on a piece of card, thus easy to find.
On our return journey the taxi was again waiting ourside our hotel a good 10mins prior to the time we had arranged.
Grigoris also gave us his mobile number so we could contact him at anytime.
An excellent service, and will certainly be using him again.

I hope you enjoyed Polychrono as much as we love Pefkohori. So chilled out we never want to come home.
We have stayed in Rhodes, Zante, Skiathos (2) which were all lovely but we always think of Halkidiki as special. Counting down to go in May. Can't wait.

Hi, Yes we loved Polychrono and went a couple of times to Pefkohori, infact we're considering going there this year.
The 4 years previous to the last we have stayed in Pefkos, Rhodes - though spent most evenings in Lardos.
We have made many friends in Lardos and will return there soon.
