Can be very warm, cool or rainy. It really depends on the year. Last year it was hot from early April until end August, then cooled down a bit.
At one time you could foretell with some accuracy, but nowadays nowhere in the world can be guaranteed good weather, even in the hot season !
We are over 14 March and are expecting it to be coolish until at least mid April. Cross fingers, mid April onwards should be fairly warm. Nights will be cold though until mid to end May.

Oh, and the sea will be freezing cold until end May !! But you should have a swimming pool I would think, although I dont know anything about the Oceania.
