Ok, this is the mailand greece site but can help!! it is a few years since I was in Malia but i guess it hasn't changed too much. The weather was great during the day. Yes, it's possible to sunbathe but not for as long as in the summer months. Butit is much more bearable. The only thing to wtch out for is night time. It can get fairly cold. So not wanting to sound like a granny you may need a jacket for some of the evenings.
