Hi All,

I'm wondering whether to take traveller's cheques with us when we go to Pefkohori next week and some euros, or whether there will be cash machines where I can get money out when I am there. Does anyone know?

I seem to remember from when we were there a few years back that we had to go to Hanioti for the cash machines. Is this still the case?

I know I will be able to pay for most things by Visa but I don't want to end up stuck with no cash whatsoever.

There is one cash machine in Pefkohori - by the petrol station. It does tend to empty at the weekend though.

There is just one cash machine in Pefkohori and it does empty quickly. In which case you need to go by taxi to Hanioiti. We took travellers cheques and cashed them at our hotel.
