Me and my partner are due to fly to Halkidiki on Thursday
Could anyone who has any info or has been there recently tell us how the area is looking following the fires.

We are staying at the Calypso hotel in Hanioti, we know the hotel is fine.

Any info would be great

have just got back today after three weeks and everything is fine the village had a very lucky escape with a few minor scares. The mayor has been very proactive in ensuring business returns to normal the only scars are to the once lush forest that surrounded the village.
