I urge everyone, should they decide to visit Halkidiki, to stay in Afytos at Milos App's
Pantelis, the owner is a fantastic host and the place is excellent.

I am regular visitor of Halkidiki and Afytos looks like the jewel of the entire peninsula.

While there, you should have dinner at Sousourada's. Pronounced su'su'ra'da' , the place is held by a gentleman well known for his skills around the kitchen. The restaurant is so much different from the rest of the tavern you usually find on the shores of Greece.

Another point of interest would be the Fortuna bar, facing the sea, at the end of the walk that is on the edge of the hill. Cool place, wide variety of drinks there and I might say quite poshy.
