We went to Fourka May 15th until May 22nd at Themelis and we had a wicked time.It was exactly what we were expecting from the brochure, nice quiet resort with excellent beaches. The only nightmare we had was been chased and harassed by Greek men in cars! But we even saw the funny side of that, didnt even register how dangerous it was or that we could have been moved to alternative accommodation by Thomson until the end of the week!! but Illias and Star from Jimmys were absolute darlings, made sure we got home safely of an evening, looked after us, provided us with some top entertainment and really contributed to us having an excellent holiday in Fourka. we will be comming back at some point - watch out Fourka! So we would definitely recommend Jimmys Bar to everyone - esp Jimmys Special and Harry Potter cocktails - "the bar is open'!! And also Viktorias - we ate there every night and the food was excellent, and thank you to George for all your help and advice! And the lady who works in Iris, she was really nice and friendly too. And all the English people we met were a good bunch. It was 120 euros to hire a car for three days, we did, we had a lovely purple daewoo matiz, such a nice car!!! We drove all round the Kassandra peninsula, saw loads and loads of beautiful beaches, drove to Thessaloniki but didnt understand the Greek parking signs so couldnt park up (trust us!). Went to Kalithea on the Saturday night with the boys for Illias birthday, that was good fun - mega hangover on the sunday though! Anyway, to wrap it all up, your holiday is what you make it, and the people you meet contribute to how much fun you can have, so if you're going make sure you make the most of it and enjoy yourself, have fun!!!
