Hi there Halkidiki people,
we are a group of 6-8 persons and we want to come to Halkidiki this summer, late August. We searched the web and one of the destination seems to be Hotel Vergos in Vourvourou.
We would like to know if we can get there by car (some additional information would be great) and some words about the place (about the hotel, surroundings, local attractions, prices for food - only the breakfast is available at the hotel at 4 Euros/day).
We also would like to go on a one-day trip to Santorini and about this we also like some more information (price, place of departure, schedule, etc).

The hotel is very nice beach hotel with swimming pool.One of the best beaches in Vourvourou and Sithonia all over is Karidi beach which is about 1 km from there.Vourvourou is a nice place with in very green surroundings which combines the forest with marvelous beaches!Very close to the hotel you can find everything you need (supermarket, restaurants) and you should not lose the chance to taste the Giant pizza at Pizza Top!(on the road which leeds to Karidi beach)
