My husband myself and two friends are off to Hanioti for the third time on May 12 2003, but the first time we have stayed at the Strand Village, we had friends who stayed there and we visited them, it is a looks a real nice place, right on the beach and a few minutes walk from the square, so it is not noisy. It can be quiet in May as the season has only just began. I do not think the water sports have started in May. Only down side is it takes about an hour and a half or two hours transfere from the airport to the resort, but well worth itin the end. We have always had nice weather, so keep your fingers crossed, I am sure you will enjoy.
