How many people know that there is an amazing cape made of sand in possidi, kassandra? Very few. And especially in week days it has minimum visitors. From possidi village you dont see it. You have to find the path behind the university camping that leads to the light house of the cape. There you can park your car, or continue only if you have a 4x4 to the cape mad of sand that enters the sea. The point where the two sea-streams meet is challenging, especially when wavy but gorgeous. It's a must-see!

I agree, it is a beautiful place which we discovered 2 years ago after visiting halkidiki for 7 years.We visit Possidi now every year. The cape as you describe was descibed to us as a cats claw, We were intrigued to see and yes, its amazing to see. The beaches are beautiful on that side of the peninsular. W are back in Halkidiki next week so will be definately heading over for a day or two (or three) of stunning scenery, tranquility, and fantastic greek hospitality.

I would think that the thousands of people who visit and stay at the many hotels in Posidi would know about the "unknown" paradise..it`s only "unknown" until you know about it, at which point it becomes a well known fact..to those who know it well
