Hi, I will be coming to Polichrono in a couple of weeks and would like to know what is the best way to bring currency. We usually bring travellers cheques and cash. Are there places in Polichrono to change travellers cheques , is there an ATM machine etc

I cannot say anything definite about the cheques, but there is indeed an ATM in Polichrono! At the side of the main road right before it turns into the village and goes down to the beach if you go from Thessaloniki direction.

I'd bring a few hundred euro in cash and then draw money out from the ATM if you need it. I don't think there's a bank in Polichrono and hotels can give poor exchange rates - that's if they have facilities to change travellers cheques.

Theres a couple of travel agents that can chnage travellers cheques.
