Hi me and my husband are off to Sani Beach Hotel at the end of September for two weeks and we are really looking forward to it. We are planning on hiring a car for a week.( this is being booked on line and the car is being delivered to the hotel as it works out quite cheap). We would be very grateful if anyone could give us any tips on places to visit near Halkidiki or easy enough to get to from Halkidiki by car. Also, would be grateful for any information on the roads there. We hired a car in Zante and there was no problem at all apart from getting losy a couple of times, but we made it back ok!! .
