Trance music in Pefkohori area?
August 06, 2008 02:12PM
Hi there,

I am visiting Pefkohori at the beginning of September. Can anyone please tell me the best places to go for trance music or chillout/ambient music in the area. If anyone knows of any beach parties going on that would be really cool too. I am really into my psytrance but I have a feeling I wont find any of that there!

Thanks a lot smiling smiley

This is not Faliraki you know, it's Halkidiki.

Hey, no need to be like that! I am not looking for a 24 hour party you know - just looking for somewhere to go at night to listen to the music I like listening to. Forget club 18-30, thats not my scene (I am nearly 32!). I think you got me all wrong!

p.s. are you saying that anyone who is not local is not welcome??? (local village for local people)

The masked avenger sounds like a jerk and obviously has never been to pefkohori. the place is packed with touist from all over Europe. The bar at Porto Valitsa plays some cool music and ther are many beach bars that play a selection of music. Can't say if it will be to your taste though

I think No No club (located on the main road, entering Pef in the direction from Hanioti) plays some electronic/techno/trance music. I saw bilboards anouncing guest DJ's from UK.

FFS Some people badly need a sense of humour transplant.

look at bikerbabe and other replies to your message they obviously took your reply the same way as I did. Maybe you just have a weird sense of humour

I did, and it was only YOU who resorted to childish name calling.

BTW. My PO box is in Pefkohori so maybe I know the town better than you?

Maybe the millions of viewers who watch the above have a weird sense of humour, I would not dare to comment.

Well, I just hope that the vilage is not like the one in the League of Gentlemen as you suggest, because I fear I may not have a very good time!

Maybe you should think about what might be construed as humorous before posting. The way I read your reply was that because I like to listen to certain styles of music I would not be welcome in Pefkohori; which I hope is not the case.

Biker babe
Don't worry you will find the peoply very friendly in Halkidiki. Halkidiki is something very special and i am sure you will have a great holiday. Hey all our music tastes are different wouldn't it be boring if we all listened to Barry Manalow, (sorry Barry, or any fans out there, i think you know what i mean). Pefkohori is a lovely village, enjoy

OK so you don't get it, fair enough.

Now for the boring reply to your initial post.

I doubt you will find much of the kind of music you are looking for in Pefkohori, your best bet might be a collection of nightclubs about 1/2 mile from Kalithea going towards Polichrono
