I would like to get driving directions (and time) from Thessaloniki Airport to Porto Carras.

This isn't an easy route unless you understand some Greek but basically you should leave the airport and head for the ring road south (route 16). As you leave the airport you will come to a junction. Go straight ahead at this junction and immediately bear left, as you will be taking the next turn left, which takes you onto the ring road. It should be signposted "Nea Moudhania". Stay on this road for about 90 KM until you reach Nea Moudhania. You will then see a left turn for Porto Carras, Nea Marmaras and Sithonia. It is then almost a straight road to Porto Carras but if you get lost it is very close to Nea Marmaras, which is a pretty big town and well signposted. It is better to go this way as the roads are much better and less dangerous than travelling across country.

The driving time, depending on traffic, is about 2 hours at most. I hope you have a safe journey and enjoy your stay in Greece!

Morning! From airport to Nea Moudanià are about 60 km.Attention not to enter in Nea Moudanià! 1km after this exit turn RIGHT! following the direction Sithonia. Beppe

It is very easy. From the airport follow the signs to Halkidiki. In ~60 km you will reach Nea Moudania. DO NOT ENTER IN NEA MOUDANIA. From there you have to follow the signs to Sithonia, NOT Kassandra. In ~35 you will be in Nikiti, and 3-4 km after Nikiti's traffic lights turn right - follow the signs to Neos Marmaras. Another ~20 km and you are there.
