Just added a photo taken from bottom of our garden at Mola Kaliva. OK, here we have stones and pebbles, but the sea is perfectly clean as it is at Skioni, Siviris and Fourka. Just as clean as the east side, but less tourists so much quieter, thank goodness.

Davidpeterwoodhead, have you actually been on this side. This is our fourth year living this side. I have never yet had any oil from tankers etc from the ports.

I didn`t mean anything derogatory about the west side, its just that the east side has no rivers emptying into the sea between Kassandra and Sithonia, so its bound to be less polluted, even if only minimally, so calm down, chill the whole of Kassandra is beautiful, thats why I chose to live here!!
