Phoning home ?

We will soon be off to Hanioti for the first time and we have to make a phone call home (from a pay phone ) once we arrive. Could anyone please advise on what dialling code we need to phone back to the U.K.
Thanks,
Angie

Hi there you ring 004 then drop the first 0 off your dialling code or mobile number. Its as simple as that. Have a good holiday

Sorry bad typing it should read 0044 then drop the first 0 off your home number.

eg home number 01612314466 ring 00441612314466

You can save that as the number in your mobile and it will still ring normally in the UK.

Angie58, if I recall correctly the phone boxes need phone cards, available at the supremarket amongst other places.

If you buy a talk talk phone card this is better for phoning home the cost is 5 euros and gives you longer than normal phone cards. Just follow the instructions.

You can also buy the phone cards at the kiosk in the square in the centre of Hanioti.

Sorry, I don't normally go the the Central Cafe but after reading all the comments from Steve and Sherrilyn, I might have to go this year to try their sumptuous breakfast!!!
