Hey there, we are going to Halkidiki on 19th August for 2 weeks and were wondering if any1 can provide any additional info.

Is it true that the apartments have air conditioning??, that'll be a life saver!!!

Also is it true that there is a Waterpark nearby?? Again that'll be great!

Anyone know any good places to go, pubs, bars etc??

Any more advice!!!! what to avoid, must-Do's etc!?

Finally, anyone going same time as us!!?

The water park is near Thessaloniki about 1hours drive away.Where in halkidiki is the kosmos apartments.Try the introduction to diving check out

bar . the bar in the hotel is run by
Costas he will try to get you drunk and
will succeed without any encouragement?
the waikiki bar is just outside the hotel
towards the square, Vangellis is the owner
and will make you very welcome.
down on the beach is a bar that sets off
fireworks and has large candles on poles running
out into the sea. great place to just chill out

there are no nght clubs in Hanioti and the bars tend to turn the music down
at 12.30. but we found that we ended up in he waikiki
at the end of the night. just sit and drink
until the sun comes up.

or ask Costas if he will take you to NO-NO's

its a greek night club . full of greek people
so as long as you behave you will be o kay

Costas is well respected in NO-NOs so if you make a friend
of him you will be sorted.

in fact the people who own and work at the hotel
are full of information...
dont buy any trips from the reps until you talk to Kosmas
he is the owner and a great person.

anyway you will enjoy yourselves
we went twice last year and again this.

and no air con.

Reading this information has brought back memories of an excellent holiday 2 years ago. Stayed @ Kosmas Apartments too.

Costa is very friendly and took us out on his speed boat and out for the evening with some of the other bar staff. He offered us bar work for the summer but unfortunately we already had jobs.

Going back this year to Hanioti - staying at Sarantis Aparthotel - any ideas what this is like anyone??
