Hi, we are hoping to travel to Thessaloniki/Halkidiki in April. As we need to fly from Edinburgh, does anyone know of good, cheap flights (probably need to connect in London?), accommodation in Thessaloniki for a couple of days either side of our trip(when we arrive & when we are leaving). We hope to drive around the Halkidiki area, so will need self catering accommodation while there.
Hopefully there are some people who have already done a trip like this who are willing to share their experiences - good & bad!
Thanks

Hi
You could try villa oasis at Nea Potidea and then the Aigli hotel in Perea which is near to Thess airport, as for car hire KC cars I have found are the cheapest, you can contact sakis on sales@kriopigi.net
You can get direct flights from Edingburgh to Thessaloniki but they are expensive, from BA, the travel supermarket offers lots of flights. I think the cheapest way to do it is to fly with easy jet from Ed to Gatwick which is approx £56 (return) then get a flight from easy jet from Gat to Thess which will be about £ 80 + (return) you can do it all online so that your flights match up.
Hope that helps a bit
Good Luck
