Here is a really dumb question and I know it is, but what are the insects like. I have the problem that I am going with someone who hates them with a passion and it will kill her off if they are too bad. So please can someone warn me, so I know if I have to take a baseball bat with me lol

Well if you really want I could scan in a photo and mail it to you - my sister was quite astounded as to how HUGE they are and took photos of every creepy crawly we saw (don't ask!). Ants, wasps, spiders, just bugs everywhere!! You won't get away from them.

Easiest thing to do is to:

*) Not tell her !
*) Take an electric plug in that puts off most flying insects & mosquitos
*) Don't leave any clothes outside overnight (i found out the hard way and a millepide fell out as I put my shorts on! not nice !)
*) Don't leave damp cloths/towels around - they love them !!

Butterflies?? Didn't see that many around maybe one or two ..... Only thing you have to wary of is flies..

Make sure you take insect repellent !! lol

You will be fine, the sun, alcohol, and men should take your minds of the bugs !!
