Just back from Halkidiki. My report:

Afytos:
Nice little Greek village, no proper nightlife. A few good restaurants for eating, lovely views. Friendly service and karaoke at Aloni bar. Lios beach is great, sunbeds free of charge, but it is considered polite to buy a coffee from the beach bar...

Kalithea:

Nice shops, good nightlife, we went to a few music bars, Bubble's and Agua and had a laugh. There are bigger clubs as well, Ahoy was good but expensive. Difficult to catch a taxi in Kalithea. Taxi queue was massive in the evenings.

Hanioti:
A common tourist resort. Very nice beach, easygoing place. Went to the gym as well. It was quite well equipped.

During our holiday we also visited Tsantali wine and ouzo factory.

Easiest way to travel around is the local busses.

Hope you all have fun in Halkidiki! We certainly had a great holiday! People were very friendly and the weather gorgerous (apart from one thunders torm).
