Hi. I have just booked 1 week at Lagaria palace in Afitos on 28 September. I am wondering if anyone has been to Aftios/Halkidiki at this time of year? I understand that the weather can be variable at this time of year, and am just hoping that we might get a few sunny days? Also, i have noticed that some places shut in October, and am wondering if anyone could tell me if there will be places open of an evening time? We are looking forward to our first visit to Halkidiki, but just want to make sure that there are things to do!
