Hi

I am looking for somewhere to have my wedding reception in Hanioti in August 2008. I had originally sounded somewhere out but have had no reply. At the moment it looks like there will be between 60 and 70 of us but that number seems to be growing all the time. As it will probably be in the middle of the day we would just like a nice buffet and some music. Any ideas?

Firstly, congratulations!

I recently stayed in the Tropical Hotel and they had a nice room with an outdoor terrace. Not sure if they would hire it out but it would be worth a try! The couple who run it are Vicky and Sakis and they are lovely.

The same family also own the Tropicana restaurant in the square, again not sure if they would be able to close it off during the day but its worth a try!

Hi Sakis,
We are getting married in early may 08,[9th hopefully] will you be open at that time of year, there will be about 15/ 20 of us, 2 or 3 being vegeterian, a couple of the guests not very daring and only eating english food.
Being our first time in greece, we would like a taste of the real greece,[music, dancing etc] could you help us out for a wedding reception?
We are also looking for transportation to and from the hotels to kassandra town hall and to reception, would you be able to help with that also?

Please let me try to give some answers to your questions above:
a) We are open from early April till late October every year.
b) We can hold more than 140 guests .
c) Your guests can have a choice of vegetarian menu too.
d) You can be more than sure that you ‘ll get a Real taste of Greece with, Live Greek music, Singing and Dancing Greek songs, Plate smashing and more.
e )We can arrange the transportation from / to your hotels, and to and from the Town Hall, by taxi(s), hired cars, wedding limousine with (or without) an English speaking driver.
f) We can arrange the flower decoration from both, Town Hall and the Restaurant from a local floweriest shop
g) We can also arrange a professional video (DVD) photographer(s) to cover the whole event from start to almost the end of the night.
h) Upon request I can go to the Town Hall (Kassandria or Pallini) and arrange the ceremony details with the deputy Mayor, the one who ‘ll perform the ceremony.

Re; Wedding

A perfect place for your wedding reception would be the "Amethystos" in Hanioti. They have a wide range of dishes, english and greek. They also decorate the area and play the wedding march and a champagne toast as the bride and groom arrive. All weddings who have had their receptions here have been well pleased with the results.
