Hi There, I will going to Kriopigi in August and will be going Self Catering. Please could anyone tell me where any super markets or grocery shops are that sell fresh fruit and vegetables ect? Thanks all Have researched into the area for everything else and cannot wait to go! xox

No problem getting food from a couple of minimarkets in Kriopigi.Also a butchers shop for fresh meat. If you get a car you could always go to Lidl, about half an hour back towards Thessaloniki. We have;nt been for acouple of years so not sure about ATM machines but we always change our money with Saki at Acropolis Taverna, we go again in a few weeks time, cant wait! We have stayed in Kriopigi about 15 times, even worked as waiters one season for 5 months.The Acropolis Taverna is a must for the greek night on Saturday, Kostas Taverna a bit further along the main road, or try Anthoula;s Taverna in the older part of the village, small square, really traditional feel, hope you have a great holiday Noel and Clare, Oxford
