Please can anyone tell us if they are aware of any building work going on next to the Sarantis Apartments in Hanioti. We were told today - 3 weeks before we leave - that there is 'minor' building going on.

Any news would be greatly appreciated as we were really looking forward to our holiday - and now we don't know what to expect??

Just got back from there, and we did'nt find it a problem at all. The hotel backs onto the main road so try and get a room away from there, although I think all the rooms have double glazing and a/c.

Did you sit by the pool during the day - was it noisy with the work going on? We were told that visually only 3 top floor rooms can see these houses being built is this true? We don't know if the agency are minimizing the affect it will have on our holiday. We need to know by saturday if we're going to change to another hotel. Sorry to trouble you but could you give us a run down to what to expect. Were the Sarantis appartments nice, clean etc., Glad you had a good holiday. Look forward to hearing from you.
